Roles & Responsibilities
The engineer will design, develop and maintain backend capabilities for Microsoft search and intelligence platforms.
Responsibilities include building scalable search features, operating live cloud services, developing high-performance components and resolving complex production issues.
The engineer will also collaborate with Product Managers, engineers and partner teams to develop reliable services that operate at Microsoft scale.
Qualifications & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field with 2+ years of professional coding experience, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong programming and software-engineering fundamentals.
- Experience developing and debugging production software.
- Understanding of scalable backend or distributed systems.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.
