About the Role

The Wiring Harness Design Engineer will support the design and development of electrical systems and wiring-harness assemblies for heavy machinery, mining equipment or off-highway vehicles.

The position requires practical experience in 3D harness routing, electrical schematics, harness modelling, 2D drawing preparation and engineering-change activities.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design wiring-harness systems using PTC Creo.
• Develop 3D wiring-harness routing models.
• Create and maintain harness assemblies.
• Prepare detailed 2D harness drawings.
• Generate drawings according to applicable company standards.
• Develop electrical schematics.
• Review electrical-system and harness-design requirements.
• Prepare wiring and electrical documentation.
• Support electrical-system design for heavy machinery.
• Develop solutions for mining and off-highway equipment applications.
• Check harness routing for fit, clearance and manufacturability.
• Review connector, branch and routing information.
• Ensure drawings and models are technically accurate.

Eligibility and Experience
